Buying Used Cars by Owner
There comes a time in our life that we all want to buy a new car, until we get to the dealers lot and see the prices that is. Some new cars today are costing as much as a house did just a few years ago and I don't know about you but my wages have not gone up that much. It is times like these that there can be wisdom in purchasing a used car. Unlike a new car, however some things are different when buying a used car. There are two places you can purchase these used cars on the lot of a new dealership and used cars by owner. When you find them on the dealers lot most of the time they are trade-ins of someone wanting to upgrade. A trained mechanic should have inspected these cars at the lot; they may even come with a small limited warranty. Used cars for sale by owner, however, have been checked out by no one but you. This is not necessarily a bad thing. All you need is a little knowledge before hand and you should have no problem buying the used car for sale by owner. Mechanic The question is should you have a used car checked by a mechanic before you buy it? Well that depends on your expertise, if you have no idea of where to put the gas in your car then you might want to find a mechanic you can trust to do it for you. The downside to this is mechanics are very busy many times and may not be able to check out your little gem within a reasonable amount of time. On the other hand, the owner may not want you taking it to another mechanic; people can be funny some times. In the last case I would walk away from a deal like that, it leads you to believe that there are things wrong with the car that the owner does not want you to know. Used cars by owner can be a great deal or a great lemon just like a car lot the thing is knowing how to tell the difference. Homework When you are considering purchasing a used car by owner, you should get all the pertinent facts on the vehicle and then do your homework. There are sites like Kelley bluebook that will give you a good idea of the going rate for a used vehicle in your area. The thing to remember is this if you are buying a car for sale by owner in another state, be sure and use their state as a basis when searching approximate value. Mileage If you have done your homework from above you will have a good approximation of the vehicles worth and part of that will be based on the mileage that you used in the search. Be sure that you double-check this data when you get to the car. Final A few final things to watch for are strange knocking sounds or weird odors coming from the vehicle. If you have driven a car very long, you will know that a sickly sweet smell coming from the vents is an indication something is wrong. In addition check every function on the vehicle, heat, air, defrost, wipers ECT….
Finally take it for a test drive, do not check out the stereo on your test drive you will want to be able to hear any odd noises or vibrations the car may be making. Once you are through and have discussed with the owner any potential problems with the vehicle make an offer or if you are still concerned about the running of the car ask if you can have your mechanic check it out. These tips are a few ground rules to get you started. Most of my cars have been purchased from a for-sale-by-owner ad and I have been extremely happy with each one, it is not a process to be feared but one you need to be knowledgeable about.

The Correct Way to Rotate Your Car's Tires
The Correct Way to Rotate Your Car's Tires
Most drivers realize that their treads wear down over time. The rubber can slowly erode from constant contact with the road. Even though a small amount of erosion won't create a problem, a lot of motorists neglect to take measures to prevent it from becoming a safety issue. If let go too far, the worn rubber can begin to impact maneuverability and performance. Another problem is that treads tend to erode unevenly; the ones in front (for FWD vehicles) wear out first. This is because they have different jobs on the front and rear axles. By rotating your tires, you can even the wearing. The key is knowing how to rotate them correctly. Today's article will provide an easy tutorial for doing so. A Common Mistake The purpose of rotating your tires is to allow each one to serve in each wheel position. Some drivers perform the rotation themselves and do it incorrectly. They exchange the ones on the front axle and then they exchange those on the rear axle. The problem is that doing so does not allow the treads to wear evenly. Those on the front will continue eroding more quickly than those on the rear. The Proper Method Of Rotation On FWD vehicles, rotate the wheels in an "X" pattern. In other words, place the rear driver's side tire in the front passenger position. Place that wheel in the rear driver's side position. Do likewise with the remaining treads. Swap those that are in the rear passenger and front driver's side positions. On RWD vehicles, move both of the treads that are on the rear axis to the front. Do not cross sides. That is, the tire that is on the rear passenger side should be placed in the front passenger position. The front wheels will move to the back, but you'll need to cross them. That is, the one from the front passenger position will now go in the driver's side back position.
A rotation on a 4WD vehicle can be performed in the same manner. What About Your Warranty? When you bought your current set of tires, they came with a warranty. Many drivers are unaware that their warranties often require them to rotate their wheels periodically (the mileage marker is different for each company). If you fail to do so, you might unwittingly invalidate your warranty. This is not the most important reason to rotate your wheels, but you should keep it in mind. Rotating your tires not only helps to even out tread wear, but it also helps to preserve the treads. As a result, you won't need to invest in a new set as quickly as you might otherwise. What's more, by preserving the rubber, you'll enjoy better handling and maneuverability. If you intend to perform the rotation at home, use the instructions above to make sure you do the job correctly.

The True Cost of Owning Your Vehicle
The True Cost of Owning Your Vehicle
The majority of prospective car buyers only consider the upfront cost of purchasing a new vehicle. They judge the deal based only on the amount of money they pay before driving their new car off the dealership lot. However, studies show that the initial investment can be misleading. Over the course of several years, a seemingly inexpensive automobile can end up costing far more than a higher-priced model. Below, we'll explore the four factors that can increase the long-term cost of automotive ownership. When you eventually decide to purchase a new model, keep these factors in mind. #1 - Fuel Efficiency A lot of drivers would be surprised by the variance in gas expenses for different models over five years. Driving a 4-cylinder vehicle can literally cost thousands of dollars less than a fuel-guzzling SUV. To determine how much you'll be spending on gas, assume that you'll be driving 12,000 miles each year. You'll also need to make an assumption regarding where you think fuel prices will be during the next five years. #2 - Insurance Premiums Many motorists believe that their insurance premiums are based solely upon their driving record. In truth, most insurance providers also take into account the type of car you're driving. For example, the premiums to insure a red sports car will likely be higher than those for a family sedan. Call your insurance agent prior to purchasing a new vehicle. He should be able to tell you which models will cost more to insure. #3 - Regular Maintenance And Repairs This is one of the hidden expenses of owning an automobile. The fact is, when somebody visits a dealership lot, the last thing they're thinking about is how much they'll need to pay for repairs. Maintaining and repairing your car is inevitable. The older it gets, the higher the likelihood that its parts and systems will fail. The important thing to realize is that certain models are more expensive to repair than others. And while your warranty will cover the first few years, it won't last forever. #4 - Depreciation Finally, we come to the largest expense of all: depreciation.
Most people understand that automobiles depreciate. But, more than a few would be surprised to discover how much, how quickly, and the disparity between different models. It is estimated that vehicles lose more than half their value during their first five years. Some models lose their value more quickly than others based on available inventories, popularity, and even the cash incentives offered by automakers and dealerships. When you decide to purchase a new car, consider the initial price in the context of how much it will actually cost to own the vehicle. In other words, don't be swayed simple because of a low sticker price. Consider the factors I've listed above to make sure you're still happy with your purchase several years down the road. Now go out and enjoy that new to you ride. Be careful and Drive Safe!

Pass by auto parts stores; get new auto parts online
Pass by auto parts stores; get new auto parts online
Tired of driving from one auto parts store to another looking for the new auto parts you need? That frustrating search is over once you go online to Auto Parts Fair.
Auto Parts Fair is a giant auto parts store in cyberspace. And when we say "giant," we mean humongous! Auto Parts Fair has daily access to some 4 million new auto parts, along with good rebuilt, refurbished, used and aftermarket parts, through its nationwide network of auto parts suppliers.
There are few things more frustrating than needing a specific part and being unable to find it at a local auto parts store. Auto Parts Fair understands this unpleasantness, so it works hard to offer a wide variety of new auto parts at warehouse prices in a way that's not just convenient, but downright enjoyable for its customers.
Through its nationwide network of auto parts suppliers, Auto Parts Fair can help you find a heater for a Hyundai or a hood for a Hummer, a fender for your Ford or a carburetor for a Chevy, suspension for a Saab or a Subaru. Whether you need new auto parts for a Lexus or BMW, for a Toyota or a Nissan, the online catalogs at Auto Parts Fair's online store make shopping easy and convenient. Finding new auto parts is a breeze at Auto Parts Fair, especially in comparison to the trek to the local discount auto parts store.
Here's how it works:
Auto Parts Fair offers customers a simple, step-by-step method for identifying the new auto parts needed. Buyers can start by looking at the picture guides on the welcome page to see if the part they need is among the week's most popular purchases. If it's not there, it's easy to move on to the next step of searching the online catalogs. And we're not talking about the huge, chained-to-the-desk printed catalogs in an auto parts store. The catalogs at Auto Parts Fair are as easy to search as "point and click."
Through convenient drop-down menus, Auto Parts Fair takes buyers through a step-by-step process to identify the make and model for new auto parts. At the completion of the process, customers find themselves exactly in the parts section they need.
And once there, it's going to take some real willpower to resist buying the many new auto parts and accessories available from Auto Parts Fair. Many new auto parts can be found, from air filters to brakes and suspensions, from engine parts to side-view mirrors, from headlights to taillights, from front grille to rear bumper, inside and out.
Plus, Auto Parts Fair promises to stand behind every part it sells, from any supplier. There's a warranty on each purchase, ranging from 12 months to a lifetime guarantee, depending on the part. Auto Parts Fair's friendly customer service representatives can answer any questions.
So let's run through the checklist. Huge availability of new auto parts? Check! User-friendly catalog search for new auto parts? Check! Convenient, secure online shopping? Check! Satisfaction guarantee better than an auto parts store? Check! Best of all, warehouse pricing to saves money along with saving time? Check and double check!
So there's really no need to head down to the auto parts store for new auto parts anymore. Simply get online to Auto Parts Fair and order whatever you need.

Cars run great with crate engines and automotive engines
Diversity gives strength, and that's the principle behind crate engines as a variety of automotive engines. Auto Parts Fair can help customers find crate engines at reasonable prices.
Gear heads know that crate engines are constructed by a company or performance shop using mixed and matched parts, tooled to a vehicle's original manufacturer tolerances (and sometimes better, in the case of muscle cars). This may sound like a puzzling way to put together automotive engines, but there's a mission to this so-called madness, and that's performance. Crate engines are crafted with extreme attention to detail. Companies and even mechanics that assemble crate engines choose their parts usually with one intention - to maximize the performance of automotive engines.
Auto Parts Fair understands that a customer seeking a crate engine is a deep-down automobile aficionado, someone who has motors thrumming in his or her blood (yes, chicks can be gear heads, too). This kind of customer knows that in crate engines, experts put together all the best parts, so that the engine arrives either assembled or ready to assemble and install. All the components are brand new, which means it won't be cheap as automotive engines go, but it won't be as expensive as a new motor direct from the automobile maker.
Customers often find it tough to locate exactly the kind of crate engines they want, which is where Auto Parts Fair steps into the picture.
Whether it's a Ford Mustang or a Chevy Camaro or a BMW, Auto Parts Fair can search for the right automotive engine from among its huge inventory of 4 million auto parts. That's right; Auto Parts Fair has access to 4 million auto parts through its nationwide network of auto parts suppliers. Even a store that tries to keep up with most models, it can be hard to find automotive engines for every Saab and Subaru.
Auto Parts Fair takes the hassle out of finding automotive engines for Honda or Hyundai through its comprehensive online catalogs. The company understands that customers want to save both time and money when they're looking for good automotive engines or crate engines, so the online store is built with these priorities in mind.
A step-by-step process takes buyers quickly through a search for the right parts, whether it's Corvette crate engines or Audi automotive engines. Auto Parts Fair's home page features a picture directory some of the recent most popular purchases for a car, truck, van or SUV, so it can be as easy as "point and click" if the right automotive engine shows up in the picture guide.
What if the crate engine that revs up a customer's motor doesn't show up in the pictures? No problem. Thanks to the exceptional organization of Auto Parts Fair's online store, customers can locate the exact part they need with just a little effort. With a few clicks through the online store's drop-down menus, customers find what they're locating for practically in seconds. Plus, if an exact match doesn't show up, Auto Parts Fair's online store has an entire section devoted to quality used auto parts, including automotive engines.
With its nationwide network inventory of 4 million auto parts, Auto Parts Fair can offer warehouse pricing on automotive engines and crate engines that's as much as 70 percent off recommended list prices. Furthermore Auto Parts Fairs backs every part it sells with a 100 percent customer satisfaction warranty, ranging from 12 months to a lifetime depending on the part. There's no need to worry about losing money on a part that doesn't perform with a warranty like this.
These advantages make it easy to see why so many customers are turning to Auto Parts Fair for automotive engines and crate engines.

Jaguar S type was designed to take on BMW 5 Series, Audi A6 and Mercedes E Class
Jaguar S type was designed to take on BMW 5 Series, Audi A6 and Mercedes E Class
The first generation Jaguar S Type made its debut in 2000, as a luxury model in the sedan category. The S Type was built on the same body as the Lincoln LS, but the former was built in the UK while the latter was built in the US. It was a four door sedan that could seat five people. It came in two versions - a Sedan 3.0 which derived its power from a 3.0 Liter V6 engine designed by Ford and the 4.0 which derived its power from a 4.0 Liter V8 engine produced by Jaguar. Both versions had disc brakes, airbags in the front and side, and 17 inch tires. The deluxe communication package came with a navigation system or an assistance system powered by a cell phone located in the dashboard, a system to monitor temperatures inside the car and music could be turned on or off by giving instructions by phone. In 2001, a system warning people the car was reversing was added, and the 4.0 Version got an expensive stereo system that was now located in the trunk. In 2002, a sports edition of the S Type was added to the lineup.
The second generation Jaguar S Type made its debut in 2003. The S Type came in three models.
The Jaguar S-Type was a mid-sized executive saloon, designed to take on the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series and Mercedes E-Class. However, it was never as popular as its German rivals, partly because of its retro styling; its lines were directly influenced by Jaguar's sporting saloons of the 1960s, such as the Mark 2. Reliability could also be an issue; while the car was great to drive, when working properly some cars didn't give the fault-free service that their owners expected. However, decent packaging, generous equipment levels and class-leading comfort ensured many buyers chose British instead of German
S-Type is a new car with classic car charm. It might not be up there with the class leaders by the usual measures, but it has a plenty of personality and still turns heads long after it was first introduced in 1999. It's a car you'll buy with your heart more than your head. The Jaguar S-Type has been on the UK's roads since 1999 and has found favour with motorists looking for classic car looks with modern car sensibilities.
Revised in 2002 and again in 2004 to address reliability niggles and to compete with its quickly-improving rivals, the current car is unlike anything else on sale. Some argue the Jaguar S-Type looks are slightly contrived to create a direct link with the original S-Type from the 1960s, but others love its retro charm.
The Jaguar S-Type can be specified with one of four engines: a 2.7 diesel or a 3-litre and two 4.2-litre petrol configurations; one with a supercharger.
Standard safety equipment in the Jaguar S-Type range include driver, passenger, side and side curtain airbags with Jaguar's Adaptive Restraint Technology System to ensure they're deployed correctly.

Jaguar XJ boasts fantastic handling and silky ride
Jaguar XJ boasts fantastic handling and silky ride
The Jaguar XJ is a luxury saloon that competes with Audi's A8, BMW's 7-Series and the Mercedes S-Class, although it's a very different car from any of these key rivals. While the Jaguar focuses on traditional styling inside and out, its German rivals are much more modern. Although the Jaguar cars may look old-fashioned, it's more comfortable than anything else in its class, while also offering sublime levels of refinement. Also, despite the traditional design, the XJ packs much of the latest technology, ensuring it's able to show its rivals a clean pair of heels.
It's a toss-up between looks, ride and handling. All three are brilliant but given the car generated as many compliments during our week-long loan as most cars attract in a lifetime, we'll go with that. This car has personality and heritage in spades with a look that's also bang up to date. Want to turn heads? Buy this car. The XJ has attracted more compliments and admiring looks during its time on loan to Auto Trader than any other model. But it ain't just a pretty face. This big cat beauty also boasts fantastic handling and a silky ride.
The fictional stars of hit TV show Life on Mars would have no problem recognising this model. Some think it's time it moved on while others love the fact it's one of the most easily recognised cars on the road - for all the right reasons. It certainly got plenty of admiring glances and comments during our week's ownership, and we love the traditional styling, big cat grille, wide stance, side air intakes and twin exhaust. The latest model has emphasised the car's sportiness but the changes have been tweaks rather than major.
The diesel model is the most economical, returning 35mpg on average and up to 43.7mpg for motorway cruising. Insurance falls into group 17E and emissions of 214g/km see it currently in tax band F - with an annual bill of £205.

Securing Your Vehicle
Securing Your Vehicle
When I was a police officer, one of the most common crimes that we would see would involve vehicles being broken into. Contrary to what most people may have heard, vehicle break-ins can occur during the day or at night. In fact, the vast majority of them would occur during the day (depending on the area you lived in). One of the primary reasons that a person's car gets broken into by a criminal is based on a number of factors that include what type or model car it is as well as what the contents of the vehicle are. The most typical cars that would get stolen were Hondas and Toyotas, and this is mostly because the parts on the vehicles are cheap and easy to replace, not to mention the fact that a vast majority of people in the United States own either a Honda or a Toyota. Additionally, when a person would have their car broken into, typically these were cars in which the car alarm was either turned off or non-existent. The criminal would usually look in the windows and from that angle be able to take inventory of any possible goodies that were left in the car. Depending on the neighborhood, a lot of people carelessly leave their vehicles unlocked! It is sad to think that we no longer live in a day and age where we can leave our car doors unlocked or the doors to our homes unlocked without the fear that someone will violate this trust by trying to hurt us or take something that isn't rightfully theirs to begin with. However, this is what we are dealing with in this day and age. We need to face the fact that there are a lot of people out there who have lost their jobs, are homeless or are simply petty thieves. That being said, we need to be more vigilant in how we treat our personal possessions. I remember responding to a call where an older lady had left her medical supplies in her SUV for her husband and herself. She didn't think anything of it and had explained to me that she had packed them in her vehicle the night before because they were getting ready to go on a trip the next day.
Instead of being well into their trip, they were filing a police report with me. Even if you think you live in a "good neighborhood," realize that while you may know all of your neighbors, you can still get criminals who will come from other areas of your town or county just so that they can case certain neighborhoods ahead of time to know which people leave valuables out in their cars. And while we shouldn't be quick to judge criminals as being super smart, some of them are certainly cunning and shrewd enough to plan ahead. Some ways in which you can reduce auto theft is by making sure your vehicle is as empty as it can possibly be at all times. If you're parking your car somewhere, make sure that you tuck or stow things where prying eyes can't see them. For instance, when I drive up to New York to visit family, depending on how much stuff I'm bringing with me, I'll carry an extra blanket in my car to cover up any goods that I have laying out.

Sharing the Road
Sharing the Road
The other day I was a passenger in the car with someone who suddenly became enraged when they saw that there was a cyclist up ahead in our lane, slowing down traffic because he wasn't flush to the side of the road. "They shouldn't allow bicycles in the road...I mean, really- why isn't this guy on the sidewalk?! He's just asking to be hit, and it would serve him right!" This was not the right attitude to have while driving. If you are new to an area or have just moved, one of the first things you should acquaint yourself with are the road rules for your particular area. For instance, in most states now, adult cyclists are encouraged to ride on the roadways WITH traffic that is heading in the same direction. However, recreational cyclists and children are still permitted to ride on sidewalks. Part of this was done to reduce injury to pedestrians who use the sidewalks for walking and running and cannot accurately react to a cyclist who is speeding down the sidewalk at upwards of 20 miles per hour sometimes. In some states, cities and towns, such as Brooklyn, New York, there are even designated "cyclist lanes" for those who use their bicycles as their main mode of transportation. As responsible motorists, we need to recognize that cyclists are just as much entitled to share the road with us as we are with them. Put yourself in their shoes and realize how dangerous it can sometimes be for cyclists to share the roadways with drivers who don't want to share the road. I remember one chilling story that one of my cycling friends told me: My friend (whose name I won't say) recounted a story where she was out training on her racing bike one day. She was riding along in the roadway (as per the rules of the area she lived in) when a car full of people rode up along side of her and began verbally taunting her from their car windows. As she slowed down for a red light, the car again pulled up beside her. This time, instead of just verbally assaulting her, the occupants in the vehicle actually began throwing empty glass bottles at her while she was on her bicycle. When the light changed, my friend tried to speed off on her bike as fast as she could, but she was no match for a car.
The person driving the car then proceeded to run my friend off the road, causing her to crash and damage her racing bike. Additionally, she also sustained some injuries that wound up needing medical attention. Afraid that she would be further assaulted and possibly harmed by the occupants of the vehicle, she contacted local police authorities by payphone. In the meantime, the vehicle was nowhere to be seen as it had sped off. Upon hearing this story, I would like to think that any sane person would never want to do something like this to someone on their bicycle. Cars must always yield to cyclists, and both must always yield to pedestrians (people who are running, walking or jogging). By respecting one another more, we will be able to, hopefully, learn how to share the roadways without incident.

GPS is More Than Directions
GPS is More Than Directions
The GPS is a great system to help you travel in areas that has weather situations that could be difficult or dangerous. Even though you might be able to get the weather report from your local weather band the GPS can help you on more than just giving you storm warnings by telling you the road conditions. You need to know road conditions before you select the right highway to go where you need to go. Often the traveler might be taking a road that has mud slides or snow blocks and it is necessary to choose an alternate route that is why it is important to have a GPS tracker with you while you are traveling. The weather does not always have to be bad snow storms or mud slides sometimes a rainy day with a slick road can be hazardous or perhaps a traffic tie up because of a previous accident can cause the traveler delay. The GPS can save you valuable time when traveling. The GPS can also help to save your life and prevent you from getting onto a highway that has problems due to traffic or road conditions. Many travelers prefer knowing in advance if they are going to have to sit and wait in a long line of traffic to enable them to select an alternate route. This is great to help you save on gasoline as it is cheaper to select an alternate route rather than sit in a line of traffic burning fuel needlessly. In today's market, you're going to find that the GPS Is going to do a lot more than just give you directions.
If you subscribe to some of the higher up plans on most systems, you can get up to date traffic reports, the weather in the area you're currently in, as well as prices of gas in your area. All of these features are awesome, and I highly recommend it to those that drive a lot. If you find yourself not driving a lot, especially in areas that you don't know that well, you will probably find that you won't want to subscribe to all of these features, since you will already know the area pretty well. I would make it a point to just buy a simple GPS that just gets you around via directions. With so many features, you're probably wondering which ones you should look at, and which ones you shouldn't look at. I would advise that you look into options only if you find yourself travelling throughout the country a lot. If you're in unfamiliar areas, and you don't know where a lot of the traffic is, you're going to be fine. With so many options on all of the GPS, just take a look at what they do, and just think to yourself if you can use them or not. Usually by reading the options and the description, you'll know if you'll want to pay that extra monthly fee. Some are well worth it, while others may not be at all.

With so many options on all of the GPS, just take a look at what they do, and just think to yourself if you can use them or not. Usually by reading the options and the description, you'll know if you'll want to pay that extra monthly fee. Some are well worth it, while others may not be at all.

Preparing Your Car For a Profitable Sale
Preparing Your Car For a Profitable Sale
Unless you are thinking about keeping your old vehicle and passing it on to someone else, you will eventually need to sell it. Theres many ways to sell your car, but first lets consider the preparation of your vehicle prior to advertising or trading. Presentation is the key factor The first thing one should consider when selling an old vehicle is how you can sell it for more money. The technique, which most people seem to overlook, is to simply make it look absolutely fantastic! This does not mean just washing and vacuuming it, although thats a excellent start. It is the overall preparation and detailing that counts. This is a well-known secret of most used motor dealers. You would be surprised to see the condition of some of the vehicles they purchase, but after a few hours in the detailing shop you wouldnt think it was the same car! The best advice to anyone selling his or her car, is to have a professional car detail carried out. This will cost you around the $200 mark and it will be money well invested. It will, in effect, save you hours of hard work trying to do it yourself with nowhere near the same result. This alone will add hundreds of dollars to your vehicle, particularly when selling via the newspaper. I know of people who have had their car detailed and fallen back in love with their car deciding not to go ahead with the sale. Once the detailing has been completed you should make sure any small flaws are repaired. It is also important that you have the service books and any relative mechanical history at the ready, as this is now becoming a major factor when buying or selling a used vehicle. If a service is due or near due, make sure you have it done prior to selling. This will give a prospective buyer a good idea of how well you have kept your vehicle. What is your car really worth? Before you start selling your vehicle, either privately or to a dealer, you must know its market value. There is nothing worse than advertising your vehicle with a highly inflated price tag. One way to find out the approximate value of your vehicle is by studying the motor section of your local newspapers, which will give you a reasonable guideline. Another way is to look in dealership yards to see what price similar vehicles are being sold for, but you must remember these vehicles have margins built into them to cover the dealerships operating costs and over-stock. Alternatively, the internet can provide a wealth of information on vehicle pricing. This is only web-based information and is generalised, so it does not give you accurate pricing on your own vehicle because of the specific condition and accessories fitted. Sites where you can gather this type of guidance are the individual dealership web sites and vehicle pricing-guide sites such as www.redbook.com.au and www.glassguide.com.au This data is only to assist you in making a qualified and rational decision when buying or selling your vehicle. Remember, these sites are to be used only as a guideline, they are not entirely accurate as they do not take into consideration the individual buying or selling parameters within the different states. There are always variations to the rules about pricing, so you should follow your intuition when setting a price and be sure to leave room for negotiating in your asking price. Your starting price should be higher than the price for which you really want to sell your vehicle.
